Who We Are

Lillian Katherine Leak was in an abusive relationship. After suffering physical and emotional abuse at the hands of her husband, Lillian waited until he was not at home and quickly began to devise a plan. She left her 5 year old son, Risshan, with her mother and rushed home to pack. Relieved that she was able to leave home before her husband arrived, Lillian was convinced she would be safe at her mother’s residence. Unfortunately, that evening, Lillian’s husband came to her mother’s home and brutally murdered them both with a sawed-off shotgun. He did not bring physical harm to his Stepson Risshan.

The Lillian and Lillian Foundation, named after Lillian Katherine Leak (age 26) and her mother Lillian Catherine Leak (age 44), is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that focuses on the Prevention and Reduction of Bullying, Teen Dating Violence and Domestic Violence through Education and Awareness. Lillian and Lillian Foundation’s community and focused outreaches can vary from Public and Private Early Childhood Learning Centers, Public and Charter Schools, Public Libraries, Community Based Organizations, Senior Citizen Centers, Churches, Colleges and University campuses throughout the State of New Jersey and New York.

Mission:

Seek to teach character education which invariably improves our society and particularly how Bullying, Teen Dating Violence and Domestic Violence hurts and kills. Love is Kind!

All human life is valuable and should not be oppressed, mistreated or abused by other human beings. Love is Kind!
